*NO. of isolates-“Percent susceptible for each organism/antimicrobial combination was generated by including the first isolate of that organism recovered from a given patient.” When fewer that 30 isolates are reported it should be noted that less than statistical validity of the estimates of percent susceptibility exist.

Abbreviation Key: am-ampicillin, cx-ceftriaxone, CC-clindamycin, e-erythromycin, gm-gentamicin, le-levofloxacin, lnz-linezolid, ox-oxacillin, p-penicillin, qda-quinupristin/dalfopr, te-tetracycline, tmp/smx-trimethoprim/sulfa, van-vancomycin.

- antibiotics not tested or not recommended due to lack of correlation between in vitro results and in vivo activity.

All beta lactam antibiotics are automatically reported as resistant on an oxacillin (methicillin) resistant staphylococcus species. Speciation of coagulase negative staphylococcus is only performed when specifically requested by the physician.
