CAN Launches Access to Health Care Campaign
Imagine
a world where every man, woman and child has access to the proven
screening exams that can detect cancer early
and even prevent it.
Now, be part of the
grassroots movement that will make it happen.
On Monday, the American
Cancer Society started a national advertising campaign to raise
awareness about the problem of true access to health care. Today,
ACS CAN is launching the campaign to make access to health care a
national priority in Congress and with the candidates running for
president.
Your first step is to
sign the ACS CAN presidential candidate petition asking the
candidates to make access to health care a priority if they were to
get elected.
As a previous ACS CAN
action taker, we know you realize the importance advocacy plays in
moving cancer issues forward. We must educate the candidates now so
they will do the right thing once they are elected. Signing the
petition is the first step to making that happen.
