In today's fast-paced society, the ability to rapidly communicate and transact with medical providers in our community and around the world isn't merely a luxury, but a necessity.

In order to provide our customers with the fastest, most efficient services available, we have created www.MedicalCenterLab.org and our electronic order entry system, CLOE™.  As our client, you will have:

• easy access to procedure information, 
• information on how specimens should be handled using our online Test Catalog, 
• on-line ordering for supplies provided to MCL Clients using our Supply Requisition form,
• on-line contact with us,
• and so much more!

CLOE™ allows you, the medical provider, to automate manual processes that will greatly increase the accuracy and speed of ordering tests in a secure, confidential environment.  Automated processes to check NCD and LCD regulations will assist you in ordering tests that meet government guidelines, or generate a completed ABN to be signed by the patient.  This will help us control costs, keep our prices low, and avoid charging you when we can not bill Medicare or the patient.

Electronic ordering using CLOE™ allows you to reuse patient and insurance data -- you will be able to look up, update (if necessary), and reuse this information.  This will eliminate writing repetitive information as you see the same patients again and again.

By ordering electronically we will assign a unique identifier to your order.  This will enable us to match results to orders thus making accessing results electronically possible.
